The 2024/25 financial year is officially wrapped up, and while we’re not quite ready to hit “lodge” just yet (ATO prefill data usually starts rolling in by late July), now is the perfect time to get ahead of the curve.
Whether you’re a small business owner, sole trader, or employee juggling multiple income sources, a little preparation now can save you a lot of stress later.
Here’s what you can start doing today:
✔️ Gather and organise your receipts
✔️ Update your vehicle logbooks (if applicable)
✔️ Review your income and expenses
✔️ Make sure your bookkeeping is up to date
✔️ Check for any missing documents or transactions
