Good conversations are rarely about one product, one market, or one headline.

They are usually about where people are in their lives, what they are trying to protect, what they are trying to build, and where the blind spots may be.

Last week’s Futurezone Community breakfast networking event was a useful reminder that the best business discussions still happen face to face. A room like this gives you a clearer sense of what people are actually thinking about: uncertainty, opportunity, family, liquidity, property, and how to make better long-term decisions.

An introduction is never just a name being passed on.

It is someone trusting you enough to put you in front of someone they care about.

In financial planning, that means a great deal. These conversations are about money, protection, family, and the future.

Some introductions come from clients. Some come from people who have simply seen enough of how I work to put my name forward.

Either way, I never take that lightly.
