Every first home buyer has felt it.
You’re scrolling through LinkedIn or Facebook and see a settlement photo. Someone you know just bought their first home.
For a few seconds, you wonder:
“How did they do it? I thought I was in a similar position.”
What I’ve learned is that many aspiring buyers aren’t unprepared. They’re stuck in what I call the holding pattern.
They’re saving.
They’re researching.
They’re waiting for the “right time.”
But while they’re waiting, the market moves, confidence fades, and what once felt achievable starts to feel further away.
The biggest barrier is often not income, deposit size, or borrowing capacity.
It’s a lack of clarity.
Sometimes a simple 30-minute conversation is enough to understand:
✔ Where you stand today
✔ What you can realistically afford
✔ What steps will move you forward
And sometimes, the answer is not “buy now.”
But having a clear plan is far better than standing still.
If you’re a first home buyer—or know someone who’s been sitting on the sidelines wondering if they’re ready—I’m always happy to have a conversation.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just clarity.
