Millennia ls have taken the biggest financial h it of any age group during t he coronavirus pandemic, according to a stu dy by Allianz Life. Half of millennia ls have stopped saving for retirement or reduc ed contributions, and 48% have dipped in to retirement savings, the study found.

Non-cash donations such as cloth es less than $5000 per group/category wi ll not need an appraisal. Rather y ou need to estimate the fair mark et value of them by keeping a li st of items donated and the estimat ed value of them. The total non-ca sh donation is limited to 50% of AGI.
T he bottom line is that you c an not reduce your taxable income to negati ve via donation. The nondeductible portal of charitab le contribution can be carried forward to futu re years.
