🛑 “ABSOLUTELY INSANE”: IRS Harassing Small Business Owner for $52 While $9B Fraud Goes Unchecked 🛑
An American business owner is sounding the alarm on a bizarre and aggressive tax dispute with the IRS. Despite her accountant confirming all payments were made—and having photos of the cleared checks—the IRS is relentlessly pursuing her over a supposed $52 balance.
About 1.5 months ago, she received a letter claiming she owed $52 and change.
Despite her records showing a $0 balance, the IRS has sent over 10 threatening letters.
The situation escalated to Certified Mail being taped to her door, a tactic often used by the IRS to provide legal proof of attempted delivery for time-sensitive actions like unpaid balances.
Frustrated by the "unexplained dollars" being demanded, the owner stated she would sooner face federal prison than pay a fraudulent $52 bill.
From her video: "Good evening. So if anybody would like to hear a funny story about my income taxes...
So, if you follow me, you already know this, I’m fully self-employed. So whenever I do my income taxes every year, I file, I mean my accountant like files it all, and then I have to send a check to the federal, state, and local to pay my taxes. So I paid all of them, okay? And about... I would say like a month and a half ago, I got the first letter. I get a letter in the mail from the IRS saying, “Hey, you owe us money. You owe us $52, like, and change.” So I'm like, that’s really f***ing weird because I paid all of these. So I scroll all the way back through my bank account, find where the checks were deposited with the pictures of the checks, send this all to my accountant, and I’m like, “Did I miss something here? Because I paid exactly what’s on my tax forms, whatever they’re called.” She says, “No, on my end, you're all paid.” They send me probably like 10 more letters in the mail threatening me. It’s to the point now, I got two... what is it called, when they tape it to your door? Oh my god, what is it called... where they tape a letter to your door that you have to sign for — certified mail, okay? Threatening me that now, oh now it’s serious, the $52.
You will sooner find me in federal prison than see me pay $52 f***ing dollars, unexplained dollars, and there’s some Somalis, Somalians, whatever the f*** they are, in Minnesota taking $8 billion — I think I just saw a thing that it’s up to $9 billion — in fraud, and you’re coming after me, an American business owner, for $52.
I will see you guys in federal prison."
