Are you a little apprehensive about using someone so new to the tax scene?
Let me reassure you by telling you a little about myself:
-Not only have I done my fair share of research on so many tax regulations and laws, I also took several classes to make sure that I would be fully equipped to handle every tax situation I would be presented with.
-I also took several courses recommended by the IRS to go over tax changes, updates, and issues specifically for the 2020 season (2019 filing). You can find my IRS issued certificate on my website.
-I am subscribed to IRS newsletters (for tax preparers) that alerts me with any new issues, updates, etc. So I am always up-to-date with the latest information.
-I have an active PTIN, (preparer tax identification) with no restrictions or sanctions.
-I am an Authorized e-File provider. Which most do not realize requires a background check, fingerprinting with the FBI, and a lot of due diligence.
-And you can find me listed on the IRS RPO Directory. Anyone who holds an active PTIN can prepare taxes, however, "this searchable directory is intended to help you with your choice by providing a listing of preparers in your area who currently hold professional credentials recognized by the IRS or who hold an Annual Filing Season Program Record of Completion."
