Today, June 25, is Day of the Seafarer. ⚓️
Established on June 25, 2010, by the International Maritime Organization, this day recognizes the men and women whose dedication keeps more than 80% of the world’s trade moving by sea.
Living along the St. Clair River, we’re fortunate to watch these incredible vessels pass by almost every day. Today, let’s remember the people aboard them—the captains, engineers, deck crews, and everyone who spends weeks or months away from home to keep commerce moving.
Fair winds and following seas to all who make their living on the water. ⚓️
