Bangladeshi National Charged With Unlawful Voting in Maryland!

The U.S. Department of Justice announced charges against a Bangladeshi national for allegedly voting in the 2024 election despite not being a U.S. citizen.

Important Reminder: A Green Card, work permit, Social Security number, or driver’s license does NOT give you the right to vote in federal elections.

Unlawful voting can lead to serious criminal and immigration consequences.

Know the law. Check your eligibility. Protect your future!

The charges are allegations, and the individual is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
