Today is my one-year anniversary of working for myself. I'll admit, I was a little nervous at first, but working with all of my amazing clients in the past 12 months has been life changing. So thank you to all my current clients and I look forward to helping new clients for many years to come. :-)

Personal finance is such an interesting topic that literally effects every one, however most people don't feel confident in their knowledge b/c no one talks about money...b/c we all know talking about money is taboo. So how do we learn how to handle money? Most schools offer an elective class, but few kids take it. In my experience people learn about money at home growing up. In the last 25 years, working with baby boomers and gen x'ers, I've realized most of them don't know anything either! So what are they teaching their kids?? I'm not sure the point of this post other than to caution you to take action in your finances. Don't let you money (or debt) control you...you need to control it. It doesn't get easier if you wait.
