New Employment Laws 2024 - Here are a few of the newly enacted employment laws for 2024. If you need help understanding these, or any of California's employment laws, please contact me.

* Minimum wage to increase to $16/hour on January 1, 2024 for
ALL employees

* Minimum wage to increase to $20/hour for fast food workers - starting April 1, 2024

* California Paid Sick Leave increased from 24 to 40 hours effective
January 1, 2024

DO YOU HAVE A NON-SUBSCRIPTION QUICKBOOKS DESKTOP PRODUCT? IMPORTANT INFORMATION RELEASED!

On November 30th, Intuit announced some product and price changes. After July 31, 2024 Intuit will no longer sell new subscriptions of several desktop products. If you currently have a non-subscription desktop version of Quickbooks, you will need to purchase a subscription before July 31, 2024.

Existing subscribers will be able to continue to renew their subscriptions after July 31, 2024.
