If you have not received your form MV-1 from WV and would like to download them online, you can follow these directions.
1. Go to the MyTaxes Website
Open your internet browser and go to:
https://mytaxes.wvtax.gov
2. On the homepage, look for a menu labeled “Motor Vehicle and Senior Citizen Property Tax Credits.”
3. Select “Request another motor vehicle property tax letter.”
4. Click “next.”
5. Enter the county your vehicle is registered to, your ticket number, your SSN, and your license number.
6. At the bottom of the screen below “title” click on the red circle beside “Motor Vehicle Property Tax Credit Letter” to turn it into a green check mark.

7. Click “next.”
8. Click “submit.”
9. A pop up will come up, click “ok”
10. Click “download.”
11. Find the document on your computer that has been downloaded and print or email to your CPA.
Helpful Tips
• Make sure pop-ups are allowed in your browser.
• Have your license, property tax receipt or ticket, and SSN ready
• Use Chrome, Edge, or Safari on a computer for best results
