Looking for something to do on a Friday?
The Three Village Farmers Market takes place every Friday from 3–7 PM and features local farms, food vendors, baked goods, crafts, and more.

After checking out the market, I stopped across the street for a beer to cap off the afternoon.
If you’re in the Stony Brook area, it’s definitely worth adding to your Friday routine.

Apparently I need to issue a correction.

After my last Founders Village post, I’ve learned that Christmas lights are not allowed in the community.

So if you were considering moving there solely because of the holiday decorating opportunities, I apologize for the confusion.

The funny part is that the original video wasn’t really about Christmas lights. It was about helping an out-of-town family clear out, prepare, and sell a loved one’s condo without them having to handle all the details themselves.

That said, if helping a family get a property sold means I’m one strand of Christmas lights away from becoming Founders Village’s Most Wanted, I’m okay with that.

And yes… the Christmas lights are gone...or are they?

This one was about a lot more than selling a house.

A family member had moved into assisted living, leaving the family with the overwhelming task of cleaning out the home and preparing it for sale. The challenge? They didn’t live nearby and didn’t know where to begin.

They gave me a list of the items they wanted saved. I handled the rest.

From coordinating the cleanout and repairs to getting the property market-ready and sold, my goal was to make the process as easy as possible during a difficult transition.

Sometimes real estate isn’t about selling a house. Sometimes it’s about solving a problem.
