nt of many interwoven tales and desires just like you. Lion & Lamb Bookkeeping is no different, but my written biography fuels the concepts that Lion & Lamb Bookkeeping grip as necessities. To understand Lion & Lamb Bookkeeping, you must understand parts of myself as the founder and creator. I have worked with forgotten teens for years: some forgotten due to their struggles with depression, su***de, self-harm, schizophrenia, etc., and some forgotten within the homes of abusive parents, single-parent homes, or a few that are thrown from home to home. But one thing many of them have in common…those that have parents…one or both parents’ stories revolve only around their work and sacrifices the teens.
“All work no play” is a phrase a lot of teens know so well. Their parents’ time, resources, and focus are on their jobs, and they neglect their children. Of course, I realize this is not their desire, nobody starts their job with a want to not support their family but the opposite…do it to support their family but are engulfed by lack of time or fear of financial burdens. Nobody expects their spouse to leave them because they are razor focused on growing their business and don’t have the peace of mind or financial capability to allow other passions to occupy their mind. Sometimes, I would venture to say, the parents don’t even realize the pain that occurs and the fact that they are unnecessarily sacrificing not just their own lives for their business but their entire family. But how can this trend be broken? This is the reason Lion & Lamb Bookkeeping came into creation. This trend must end, and people’s stories need to be written in unison…not just stories focused solely on business but aspects that impact others’ lives! If we can take 10+ hours a week from owners, they can have the serenity to allow their minds to focus beyond work and utilize returned time to grow relationships or progress in other non-business goals! By providing accurate documentation to analyze and salvage costly errors, owners can have tranquility of mind to use their resources for their goals or to help other passions be reached such as a charity or churches to which they may be active. Lion & Lamb’s story is still being written and their antagonist is this destructive trend. Their prerogative is to flip the script and help businesses become tools for desires outside of the business such as family instead of being obstacles…many times being blatant enemies.
