Today is January 4th, 2018 and I thought I needed to post a little bit of knowledge concerning this upcoming tax season. First of all, please note that anything I post on social media or I say out of mouth; I have done research on it. I have been constantly going on the IRS website and looking for a date as to when the IRS will be receiving tax returns and as of now; It still says no date has been set. I have been getting a lot of calls about other tax services preparing people taxes and they're getting their money back. People as well as my clients the only thing any tax service can do at this point is prepare your taxes and tell you what you are getting back but they CAN NOT TRANSMITT YOUR TAX RETURN. BOTTOM LINE YOU STILL GOT TO WAIT! Maybe, some firms offer a loan of some sort of $500-$1,000 but it's just that a LOAN that you will pay back with interest whenever your refund is approved.
