📢 IRS-CONFIRMED TAX UPDATE FOR 2025 📢

💵 Tips & Overtime Income May Now Qualify for New Federal Tax Deductions

At Seeet Savings Taxes, we stay on top of IRS changes so you don’t miss out on money you’ve earned. 💰

The IRS has confirmed new federal tax deductions available for tax years 2025–2028 that may help eligible workers lower their taxable income when filing their return:

🔹Qualified Tips Deduction
If you work in an occupation where tipping is customary, you may be able to deduct qualified tip income subject to income limits.

🔹Qualified Overtime Deduction
If you earn overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act, you may qualify to deduct the overtime premium portion of your pay.

⚠️ Important IRS Clarification:
✅ Tips and overtime are still reported as income
✅ Social Security & Medicare taxes still apply
✅ These benefits are claimed as deductions when you file your tax return, not removed from your paycheck

📊 For many workers, this can mean lower taxable income and a bigger refund.
