About the Owner
Summer Plourd is the owner & founder of Char Plourd, LLC. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Summer earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In 2010, she moved to Nevada and has since enjoyed all the area has to offer. Summer is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Nevada, Hawaii, and Virginia. She is also a licensed Certified Management Accountant.
Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in private industry and public accounting. Summer has worked for large regional public accounting firms to large corporate companies. That experience has also allowed her to work with high net worth individuals providing them with comprehensive tax & strategic advisory services for their businesses, non-profits, and personal estate management needs.
She has experience in the real estate, agriculture, small business, workers comp, risk management and insurance industries.
She is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, Nevada Society of CPA’s, Institute of Management Accountants, and Virginia Board of Accountancy.
