So much meat in every page so far. Reading and dissecting this book in a group setting is something else!
So many confuse the word "humble" with poor.
There's company's that were DRIVEN from Good to GREAT! Nothing happens by coincidence. You reap the rewards of serving others and thinking future generations.
CEOs that are described as Level 5 CEOs are focused more on the 20 year outcome than the instant gratification. In comparison to those who seek celebrity status and sought praise, once they left, the company would reduce performance. Some even cut corners to increase their own profits.
You have the power to make a difference. It might not be fast but IF you stay focused, everyone will wonder how you did it.
They'll ask for shortcuts but aren't willing to do what you did or what you went through.
