Sundays around here mean church, time with our kids and our crazy dogs, Sunday dinner, and a little rest mixed in. I also try to finish up any homework and get my calendar lined out for the week ahead.

Why Amazing Grace? There’s a little story behind that name. ❤️
Originally, I was going to call this business Busy B’s. It felt like me—cute, a little sassy, and especially meaningful because that’s what the Greats and Parker Mae call me. I had the logo. I had a cute motto. I could picture it all.
But when I went to file my LLC, I couldn’t do it. Something about making that name official just didn’t feel right.
This business had been on my heart for years, and when it came time to give it a name, I kept thinking about everything that had brought me to this moment.
The years of raising the boys, working full time, and trying to fit school into an already full life. The decision to put college on a shelf labeled “to be continued,” without knowing when I would get to pick it back up. And then, about 15 years later, finding my way back to a dream I still wanted to pursue.
There were plans I thought I had figured out, changes I didn’t see coming, and moments when I was simply doing my best to take the next step. Looking back, I can see God’s grace through all of it—even when I couldn’t see where I was headed.
That’s what I wanted the name to hold.
Amazing Grace reminds me of the chance to begin again. Of the family who has always shown up for me and the friends who have cheered me on. Of the peace I’m finding in this new chapter and how grateful I am to be here.
But I knew one thing: the bee was staying. 🐝
I may have traded a cute and sassy name for something a little more refined, but I still wanted that little piece of me in there. Every time I see it, I think of the people who call me B. The people I love. The people who make all this hard work mean something.
And when my son said, “I’m proud of you, Mom,” it reminded me that my children are watching me follow a dream, even after all these years. I hope it helps them believe they can follow theirs, too.
That love and grace are what I want to bring into this business. I want people to feel comfortable asking questions, even the ones they think they should already know the answers to. I want to help them understand their finances, find some peace of mind, and feel supported as they work toward something that matters to them.
So that’s how Busy B’s became Amazing Grace—with a little bee still tucked into the story.
A reminder of the people I love and the grace that brought me here. ❤️
