We lost another sweet classmate yesterday, Elaine Fowler Folsom, after a long battle with cancer. 😞

The Chipola Historical Trust’s monthly meeting will be held on Monday, April 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Davis-West House located in Marianna at 4448 Putnam Street.

This month’s program speaker is David Melvin, owner of David H. Melvin Engineering. David is a lifelong resident of Jackson County and has an interest in its history and its historic preservation. He is currently involved in several projects to help save, renovate, and restore historical landmarks in our area. David will share the plans and progress of some of these structures with us.

Please join us on April 21. The public is welcome and invited to attend.
