I've had a number of non customer calls asking me to work on 2023 and earlier returns. Pls note that I am not taking any new clients. Also I don't do post season or prior year returns for non clients.

Not been able to get into the IRS website and add your deposit information at irs.gov due to the dreaded error message Sorry, looks like you will have to wait for your check to come in the mail.

Many Social Security beneficiaries, people who gave IRS deposit information on tap next.

I was fortunate to add a fair number of new tax customers this year and several had more complex returns. As a result, I will not be able to accept new clients returns after Monday, March 23rd if you need them filed by April 15.

It is very easy to file an extension, should you need more time to get your return together.
