Most (if not all) economists disagree with Trump's "math" regarding the tariffs that other countries have supposedly imposed on US exports, which he is using to justify the recently announced tariffs on most countries around the world. Please read this article to get some actual "facts" on the matter. No matter what Trump's reasons are for the tariffs, they are bad for the USA on so many levels and will isolate us from our allies and trading partners. I hope to see more of our elected officials speaking out publicly and doing what they can to stop these tariffs before the damage cannot be reversed.

The Trump administration's tariff calculations appear on paper to be a simplified math of America's trade relationships.
