Hi Everyone! Don't forget 2012 Income Tax filing deadline is Monday April 15th!!! Also anyone filing their FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) for college, you have to wait 10 days after filing your taxes to take advantage of the IRS Data Retrieval tool. The IRS will begin accepting e-file and Free File returns on Jan. 17, 2012. Taxpayers have until April 17 to file their tax returns this year. The IRS encourages taxpayers to e-file as it is the best way to ensure accurate tax returns and get faster refunds.

IRS officials have informally stated that the IRS will treat iPads and other tablet-type devices in the same manner as cell phones for tax purposes. Earlier, the IRS announced relaxed rules related to the tax treatment of employer-provided cell phones and reimbursements for cell phones. The lines of distinction between cell phones and tablet devices are difficult if not impossible to draw. Much of what can be done on an iPad can be done on an iPhone and vice versa.
