You are a divine being having a deeply human experience.

And perhaps the real work is not escaping our humanity…
but learning how to fully inhabit it.

I wrote this piece after reflecting on the tension so many of us feel between productivity, spirituality, ambition, exhaustion, and the longing to simply be.

In a culture that rewards constant doing, we can forget the sacredness of being alive in a human body.

This article is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and remember yourself differently.

Reposting this powerful reflection by

“Self-mastery & self-improvement are not the same thing.”

The slides walk us through a quiet but radical truth:
Self-improvement often starts from “I’m not enough yet.”
So we read more, do more, fix more… and the wheel keeps spinning.

Self-mastery asks something entirely different:
What if nothing is missing?

This is the shift I see again and again in my work.

Most people don’t need another system.
They need a different relationship with themselves.

Productivity isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about learning how to work with who you already are.

When we move from constant fixing → to self-trust,
everything changes:
• how you make decisions
• how you manage your energy
• how you define success

This is where real clarity, and sustainable productivity, lives.

If this resonates, let’s explore what your version of self-mastery looks like.
I offer personalized productivity coaching and energy healing work rooted in alignment, not pressure.

Can we slow down in NYC?

It’s up to us, not the city.
We are adults, and we are in charge of our choices ;)

And slowing down doesn’t have to be an epic weekend or week-long retreat, it can start small.

* Taking 20 minutes to eat lunch without your phone or TV, just being with your food and enjoying it with all your senses
* Fully watching a movie without multitasking
* Having a no-plans day and going with the flow

Micro slowing down matters, it compounds over time, like monthly savings :)

Most people don’t struggle with productivity…
they struggle with attention.

Not because they’re lazy.
But because the world is loud, fast, and constantly pulling them away.

Focus Lab was born from this truth.

It’s not about pushing harder.
It’s about creating a space where your mind can land again.

A space where:
you show up
you’re held in structure
and you finally do the things that matter

This May, I’m opening the doors for you to experience it:free.

Come sit with us.
Work with us.
Refocus with us.

We were pioneers back in 2011!

Almost 15 years ago, one of my early coaching clients, Michael Trollan, had a simple idea:

What if we worked together… not just in conversation, but in action?

So we started meeting on Sundays.
4 hours.
A whiteboard.
50-minute focus sessions.

No pressure.
No performance.
Just presence, accountability, and a quiet commitment to show up.

Back then, it felt a little unusual…
Spending your Sunday this way.
Working on your dreams, with others, but still on your own path.

And here’s what I love most:
Michael and I still get things done together to this day.
That rhythm never left, it simply evolved.

Today, that same spirit lives on in Focus Lab
An online space (with some IRL moments 😉)
where we don’t just get things done…

We plan, learn, create, and grow together.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…
is not do it alone.

And yet… it worked.

There is something powerful about being witnessed in your effort.
About not being alone in your ambition—or your resistance.

🌿 Letting go is how we grow.

Shedding old patterns, fears, and expectations isn’t always easy, but it makes room for new energy, new ideas, and freedom to soar. ✨

In my latest Substack essay, I explore this delicate dance of release and expansion—and share how I guide clients to clear what no longer serves them through gentle energy work, so they can truly take flight. 🕊️

Nature is calling you.

I think we all need a bit of curated time, when someone gently tells us: leave your phone behind.

Spend an hour or two in silence, surrounded by nature.
Just be present to the beauty around you.

I’m organizing a day hike for adults who want to slow down, relax, and recharge.
Think of it as a mini slow-down retreat.

We’ll hike, meditate, share lunch at the top of the mountain, and have meaningful conversations, with fellow nature lovers and with nature itself.

Join me on April 26, 2026. We’re heading to Cold Spring, New York.

The Slow Art Day - April 11th.,2026

I recently learned about this initiative and wanted to share it with you.

You can facilitate one or participate in one.

https://www.slowartday.com/

If you’re wondering how to have more slow experiences in your life, planning a day of slow art may be the answer.

I will share with you three art pieces that I keep coming back to in my mind:

- The Lady and the Unicorn, at the Musée de Cluny
- Skiers, from the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus
- Bodhisattva of Compassion Avalokiteshvara, at the Rubin Museum of Art (the museum itself is now closed)

What are the art pieces that you keep returning to throughout your life?

Flowers are confident.

They are who they are.

They do not compare themselves to the flower next to them.

They don’t bend depending on who is passing by.

And yet they still grow together.
They cooperate with the garden around them.
Together they create something beautiful.

During a coaching session recently, I reminded one of my clients about this quiet kind of confidence.

We often believe confidence must be loud, something we demonstrate, defend, or perform. But the confidence that truly supports our work and our life is much quieter.

It is the confidence to be who we are.

To grow at our own pace.

To focus on what is ours to grow.

Sometimes productivity is not about becoming more.

Sometimes it is about remembering who you already are.

Like flowers, we are not here to compete.

We are here to bloom. 🌸
