This October, I’ll be pedaling through the Blue Ridge foothills for Velo Palmetto 2026 to support the mission of Blood Cancer United.

I’m riding for an organization that is truly moving the needle:

🔬 Elite Research: They’ve invested over $2 billion in global research, currently supporting more than 100 top-tier scientists to accelerate cures.

📣 Patient Advocacy: With 50,000 volunteers mobilizing nationwide, they advocate for policies that make treatment more affordable and accessible for every family.

🌅 The "Bold Goal": Their mission is to help blood cancer patients gain one million additional years of life by 2040—turning once-fatal diagnoses into manageable conditions.

Every mile helps provide free one-on-one assistance and clinical trial guidance to those navigating a diagnosis. I'm honored to help families reach more milestones like graduations and birthdays. 🎓🎂

Riding for a cause close to my heart! 🚴‍♂️

This year, I’m taking on Velo Palmetto, a 3-day cycling journey through the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. More than just a ride, this event is dedicated to raising critical funds for Blood Cancer United, an organization at the forefront of life-saving research since 1949.

This journey is deeply personal for me this year as I pedal in honor of my former colleague, Alex Gagnier, who is currently fighting an aggressive form of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. While the mission focuses on blood cancers, the breakthroughs funded by this organization help pave the way for treating many other types of cancer, including Alex’s. Every mile I cover is a tribute to her strength and a step toward the goal of giving patients over a million more years of life by 2040.
