Based on numbers from 2019, the small business lending market has grown to $1.4 trillion. What caught my attention was how little the equipment financing/leasing programs were used given that equipment is needed in most small businesses. My guess is they nor their consultant knew about the programs & the tax advantages that come from doing so. I can see how term loans & lines of credit make up for 36% of the market as they give great flexibility with the longer term or their 0% interest for the first 12-24 months.
