Donna Finocchiaro is an entrepreneur and business women who utilizes her sixteen year corporate accounting and finance career to effectively manage her professional organizing
company, Organized East of the River. Over the past decade, Donna has gained valuable knowledge in a variety of areas allowing her to specialize as an Estate Organizer. In 2004, Donna left the fast passed world of finance to peruse her passion of bringing home organizing solutions to the general public. She began her career as the managing director for Home Works Professional Organizing, quickly doubling the size of the company in eighteen months. When an opportunity presented itself to collaborate with another professional organizer, she jumped at the chance to co-own the first retail store in Connecticut specializing in organizational products and services. Donna quickly recognized the need of her downsizing clients who needed resources for selling their unwanted items. Soon after, Donna created Wooden-It-Be-Nice Inc., a furniture consignment business, to provide her clients with a place to sell their large furniture items. Over the years, she was working with auction companies and other consignors to meet her clients needs. In 2013, Donna dissolved WoodenItBeNice Inc. and modified her business to better serve her clients, where today, she provides her clients a vast array of options for selling most of the contents of a home or business.
