biz.loudoun.gov The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved $1.15 million in grant funding for the COVID-19 Business Interruption Fund to support Loudoun businesses impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. The Loudoun Economic Development Authority added $250,000, raising the total to $1.4 million.

$1.15 Million Fund for Loudoun Businesses
Chamber Members,
Last night, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved $1.15 million in funding to the new Loudoun Business Interruption Fund. This fund was created by the Department of Economic Development and the Loudoun Economic Development Authority to provide $7,500 - $10k in grant funding for businesses in need as they face lost revenues during the COVID-19 crisis.
A business will qualify for these funds if they:
• Have 3-100 employees (if you have less than 3 employees keep reading!).
• Demonstrate a loss of revenue of 25% or more directly related to COVID-19.
• Have less than $2,500,000 in gross receipts annually.
• Are licensed and operating business located in Loudoun County.
The application will go live on Thursday, April 29th, at LoudounBusinessFund.org. Applicants will have 72 hours to complete the application. Once complete a department staff member will contact the business directly to confirm application details and answer any questions they may have. Recipients of the grants through these funds will be chosen by a random drawing during the middle of the following week.
Details you need to know:
• Apply online when the application goes live on April 29th.
• Grant recipients will be chosen the following week by random drawing
• Funds are planned to be distributed by the first week of May.
Employees with less than three employees were also included through separate funding. The Board of Supervisors approved an additional $150,000 for businesses of this size with a total grant amount of up to $5,000. Please apply using the same link and you will be considered along with similarly classified qualifying businesses.

The Loudoun Estate Planning Council is a component of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties, a 501(c)3.
LEPC was founded in October 2013 to provide estate planning professionals in Loudoun County with a local organization dedicated to educating the public on the importance of estate planning. Founding members realized a need for the organization to have strong ties to the community with a focus on giving back.
A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the presentations, policies, membership process, and community programs. LEPC is a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, joining with hundreds of similar community Councils across the U.S.
LEPC invites accountants (CPAs), attorneys, trust officers, financial institution professionals (bankers, advisors), development officers, financial planners, insurance professionals, valuation specialists, and charitable giving advisors to join. Non-members are welcome to attend LEPC’s events to learn more about the council prior to joining.
