Thank you so much, Main Street Kent!!! I can't wait to show everyone how beautiful this old house can be as we continue helping area small businesses and non-profits with their accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and tax needs.

Exciting news from Dia and DLR Accounting Solutions — they're growing! After years in downtown Kent, they're moving to a beautiful new home: the historic Kent Wells-Sherman House. Dia purchased and is now renovating this landmark building, bringing it back to life for their new offices opening in May 2026. That's not just running a business — that's investing in Kent's history.

Work is being done on the outside too - temperatures were good today (until they dropped and the wind kicked up). Cleaned up the basement steps and started pulling overgrown weeds around the foundation.

Making progress. Unfortunately, floors aren't perfect but they'll still look beautiful when done. They finish sanding today, stain and poly tmrw and Friday. Going with a darker stain to hide some damage. Looks like furniture or display cases got drug across main room. Not going to stress...we've all got scars 🥰

Thanks for the shout out Main Street Kent ❤️ Moving to the North side LOL Renovations started this week - all the carpet has been taken out. Gonna put lots of love back into this old house!
