📢 Waiting on Your Michigan State Tax Refund?

If you've been checking the status of your Michigan tax refund and previously saw that your return was "Under Review," but now the system shows "No Record of Your Return," don't panic.
The Michigan Department of Treasury is currently working through processing delays and system issues. Recently, the state acknowledged an issue involving nearly 30,000 incorrect letters and refund notices that were mistakenly sent to taxpayers. As a result, processing timelines and online status updates may not always reflect the current status of your return.

In many cases, a "No Record Found" message does not mean your return has been lost or rejected. It may simply be related to ongoing backlog and system corrections while the Treasury resolves these issues.

✅ Keep copies of all correspondence you receive from the State of Michigan.
