“People exist for one another.” - Marcus Aurelius
As we move through this season, those five words feel especially true for me presently.
Food banks across our communities are under more strain than ever before…serving more families, facing higher costs, and trying to stretch fewer resources.
It’s easy to feel like the need is too great or that our contribution might be too small. But every cent, every dollar, every gesture of care adds up to something greater than what we do individually…it’s hope made tangible.
If you’re able, consider supporting your local food pantry like the Center for Lay Ministries, St. Vincent de Paul, Dare to Care, or another organization close to your heart. The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana is offering a $1-for-$1 match for food pantries as well.
This isn’t just about giving food. It’s about living that simple truth: we exist for one another.
Together, we can make sure none of our neighbors face an empty table this season.
