Some great advice on how to get going with your retirement savings. Number #1 is to sign up for your organization's 401k plan especially if it has a match which is basically free money from your employer. The other good option is contributing to a Roth IRA.

Interesting read on the importance and growth of personal finance being taught to students in k-12, along with college age students. It so critical that children and young adults understand the basics of personal finance especially as it relates to developing good financial habits, and having a clear idea of what they might be committing to with college debt and student loans. An amazing program that focuses on educating children is Junior Achievement. I've been involved with this program during my career and would encourage others to volunteer -- it's very rewarding personally.
