Dear Tax Clients,
I will be doing taxes from my private in-home office in Georgetown this tax season. I recently sold the office space in Seaford where I operated Wise-File Tax Service for over 15 years, and I am now transitioning to a home-based tax practice with a select number of tax clients.
Moving forward, most tax returns will be prepared on a virtual drop-off basis through my simple, secure online portal at encyro.com/tax. Just send me an email at [email protected] when you're ready to get started!
I know a small number of clients will prefer to drop-off tax documents and/or review and finalize everything in-person, so we can set up a special in-person appointment if needed.
As usual, I have partnered with Republic Bank to offer Refund Transfers and Easy Advances. With a Refund Transfer, tax preparation fees can be paid directly from your tax refund, so there's no need to pay up front for tax preparation. And this year, Republic Bank is offering an Easy Advance of $500-$6,000 (for an additional fee based on the size of the advance).
At this time, the IRS has yet to announce a date when they will start accepting and processing e-filed tax returns, but most likely, I will begin preparing taxes the week of January 16th in anticipation of the IRS start date.
