Most people don’t have an investing problem.

They have a cash flow leak.

The fix usually isn’t dramatic. It’s boring (and effective):
- Know what’s coming in
- Know what’s going out
- Automate the difference

That’s the game.

If you don’t tell your money where to go, it will volunteer for something else.

New year. Same truth:

Income isn’t wealth.
Wealth is what you keep, what you own, and what you build on purpose.

If you’re a HENWY (high earner, not wealthy yet), here’s the goal for January:

Pick one system and tighten it.
Not ten resolutions. One system.

Examples:
- Auto-save on payday
- A weekly “money huddle” with your spouse
- A spending plan you’ll actually follow

Simple beats perfect. Every time.

Tonight is one of those “pause and exhale” nights.

Even as an advisor, I’m still learning how small decisions show up over time.

Not the flashy stuff. The repeatable stuff.

This year reminded me:
- Progress doesn’t come from perfection
- It comes from awareness + intention
- And a simple system you can actually stick with

So before the ball drops, here are 3 questions worth asking yourself:
1. What did money do well for me this year? (less stress, more freedom, more options)
2. Where did I drift? (spending, saving, lifestyle creep, time)
3. What’s ONE small habit I can get 5% better at in January?

You don’t need a revolution. You need a rhythm.

If you want, drop one lesson you learned about money this year in the comments. I read them all.

And if you’re a high earner who feels like your money should be doing more for you by now, let’s talk.

Happy New Year.

You don't need a financial overhaul. You need 20 minutes.

Between RSU vests, year-end deadlines, and holiday chaos, December leaves zero room for a full financial review.

But here's what works: A quick timeout to ask yourself 4 questions:
- Is my money supporting the life I actually want?
- Am I headed in the right direction?
- What's ONE thing I can improve?
- How can I skip the guilt and start fresh?

My grandfather Julius used to say "money is a tool, not the goal." This December, take 20 minutes to make sure your tool is working for you.

What I learned about money this year.

Even as an advisor, I’m still learning.

This year, one thing I got better at was delegating tasks, roles, and responsibilities.

The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is awareness.
So as you head into 2026, ask yourself:

Where did I grow? What got in the way? What one habit can I commit to getting 5% better at?

You don’t need a revolution. You just need a rhythm.

One Big Bo money rule I actually live by.

Live below your means.
Invest the difference.
Stay consistent.

That’s it.

It’s not fancy. It’s not flashy. But it works.

I talk about this on The Big Bo Show a lot. And it’s how my family actually operates.

Because real wealth isn’t built in spreadsheets. It’s built in the choices you repeat when no one’s watching.

Whether you’re celebrating Hanukkah, Christmas, both, or neither, this week tends to get loud.

Gifts. Expectations. Travel. Noise.

A reminder: the people in your life probably won’t remember what you bought. But they’ll remember how you showed up.

Fully there. Eyes off your phone. Laughing at the same old stories.

You don’t need to do it all. Just be all there.

Wishing you a calm, grounded, meaningful holiday week.

Grateful for your time and trust.

My client made partner. Seven figures. Two weeks later, he calls: "Jason, I thought this would feel different."

I get it. I spent over a decade at big firms chasing the next level. Built products worth billions. You know what changed my life? Not the bonus. Not the title.

It was my grandfather Julius teaching me that money is a tool, not a trophy.

The people who actually FEEL wealthy (not just look wealthy) do four things:

1️⃣ They buy back their time
Fewer “have to’s,” more “want to’s.”

2️⃣ They choose experiences over stuff
Memories appreciate. Cars and gadgets depreciate.

3️⃣ They build "sleep-well money" (no 2am ceiling staring)
Reserves and planning that let them rest at night instead of worrying at 2 a.m.

4️⃣ They use money for meaning (impact > accumulation)
Impact > accumulation.

Remember Andrew Luck?
He walked away from the NFL at 29, with an enormous financial future in front of him, to protect his health, joy, and family.

That’s not quitting. That’s redefining what “winning” looks like.

Before we all shift into holiday mode and 2026 planning...

I want to take a second and say thank you.

Thank you to every client who shared their story with me. Thank you to every follower who liked a post or sent a DM. Thank you to my team, my family, and my kids, for keeping me grounded.

And thank you to my grandfather, Julius, who taught me that money is a tool, not the goal.

What’s one thing money helped you do this year that you’re grateful for?

Drop it in the comments if you feel like sharing.

Wishing you a peaceful end to the year.

Here’s what football season teaches me about wealth:

You don’t win a season with one play.

You win it with preparation, a clear game plan, and staying calm when things go sideways.

Building wealth works the same way.

It’s not about a stock tip or a flash of brilliance. It’s about:
- Following your plan
- Making halftime adjustments
- Not quitting when the market drops 10%

Even the best teams lose games. The best investors? They don’t panic.

They keep playing their game.

Every year around this time, I feel the same tension as a parent.

Do I give my kids everything they want?

Or do I give them something they’ll actually thank me for 10, 20 years from now?

One thing I’ve done with my son over the years is ask him a simple question:

What’s more valuable long-term—a toy from Amazon… or a tiny piece of the company that built and sold it?

I’m not anti-gift. The bike, the games, the tech… they’re fun, and they matter.

But if you want to raise owners, not just elite consumers, there’s a different kind of gift to consider:
A small ownership stake in a company or ETF that can grow while they grow.

In my latest article, I break down:
• Why ownership beats consumption over time
• How to think about gifting stock or ETFs to kids
• The mindset shift this creates around money and the future

If you’re rethinking what “the greatest gift” really is this season, you might enjoy it:

This week my family will light candles for Chanukah.

Others are prepping for Christmas. Some are simply catching their breath before the year ends.

This season gets loud: gifts, travel, deadlines, expectations.

But light doesn’t come from checking every box.

It comes from presence.

A quiet dinner.
A tech-free moment.
One real conversation with someone you love.

Wishing you a few moments of calm and connection this week.

🟦 Grateful to all of you who follow, listen, and trust me with your time.
