Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Insurance Marketing Specialist to support our sales team by following up on inbound leads and scheduling qualified appointments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, thrives on consistency, and wants to grow within the insurance industry.
No insurance license is required to start; however, the selected candidate will be expected to obtain the appropriate insurance license within 6 months of hire (support and guidance provided).
Key Responsibilities
• Follow up promptly with inbound leads via phone, text, email, and CRM tools
• Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and interest level
• Schedule appointments for licensed sales agents
• Maintain accurate notes and activity records in the CRM
• Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly contact goals
• Coordinate with sales staff to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-ups
• Represent the company professionally and positively in all communications
Qualifications
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable speaking with prospects over the phone
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized
• Ability to handle rejection and stay positive
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required
Licensing Requirement
• Insurance license not required at hire
• Must be willing and able to obtain required insurance license within 6 months of employment
Preferred (But Not Required)
• Experience in call centers, sales support, appointment setting, or customer service
• Prior marketing or insurance industry exposure
