We just finished dinner and I said I was going back to work. Aunt Lola heard me say that, raced around the corner and jumped on my desk. She's back to work!

EAs are America’s Tax Experts and play a crucial role in assisting taxpayers with their tax-related matters.

An enrolled agent (EA) is a tax professional who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). EAs have “unlimited practice rights,” which means they are authorized to represent any kind of taxpayer—individuals, businesses, or organizations—and are allowed to deal with any federal tax issue.

Here are some key points about enrolled agents:
1. Licensing and Qualifications:
o Enrolled agents are licensed by the IRS.
o To become an EA, one must pass a comprehensive three-part Special Enrollment Examination covering federal tax planning, individual and business tax return preparation, and representation.
o They are also subject to a suitability check.
o EAs must complete 72 hours of continuing education every 3 years to stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.
2. Representation Rights:
o EAs, along with certified public accountants (CPAs) and attorneys, have unlimited representation rights before the IRS.
o They can represent clients in matters such as audits, payment/collection issues, and appeals.
3. Scope of Services:
o Enrolled agents advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements.
o Our expertise in the continually changing field of taxation enables us to effectively represent taxpayers at all administrative levels within the IRS
