1099-NEC documents are available January 2nd and you can file your taxes.

Be sure to have your expenses and receipts to reduce the amount of taxes you are responsible for since they were NOT taken out of your money during the year!

An identity protection PIN (IP PIN) is a six-digit number that prevents someone else from filing a tax return using your Social Security number (SSN) or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN).

The IRS will send out a new IP PIN every year.

No you can not share your IP PIN with your Dependents.. If you would like for your children to have one you can request the same way.

If you are self-employed, you can file as soon as January 2nd and apply for the tax cash advance when you file.

Otherwise you have to wait for your W-2 from your employer who is legally obligated to provide you with said W-2 by January 31st and then you can file 💙💚
