🚨 Let’s Chat About This Upcoming Tax Season 🚨
Listen up, folks! This isn’t 2019 anymore. We’re not in that “file quick, flex hard” phase.
The IRS? They’re operating on a whole different level now. They’re not just processing returns; they’re watching closely, auditing, and they want proof. 🧾
So let’s get straight to the point for those who need to hear it loud and clear:
🗣️ If you don’t have your ducks in a row and I mean real, solid evidence that you’re self-employed, it’s not going to fly this year.
No more “I do hair,”
No more “I babysit,”
No more “I walk alligators and sell lashes on the side.”
🚫 If you can’t prove it, it’s a hobby, not a business, and the IRS isn’t here for your hobbies.
No screenshots.
No “my Cash App shows I’m working.”
Honestly, Cash App and Apple Pay transactions won’t cut it — but let’s not get into that. 😮💨
They want bank statements, invoices, business accounts, EINs, and actual records. You know, the stuff real businesses have.
🛑 Don’t wait until January to start freaking out.
🛑 Don’t rely on a refund to bail you out.
🛑 And please, don’t slide into my DMs asking, “Can you just list me as self-employed?”
UMMM….. NO. 🙄
I’m not risking my credentials, my reputation, or my freedom so you can pretend you’re running a business while binge-watching Baddies all day.
💡 If you’re genuinely hustling, it’s time to conduct yourself like a business.
💡 If you need help doing it the right way, I’m here to assist, but I won’t be cleaning up a mess come February.
This is not the year to play broke and rely on a refund. File smart or risk being flagged. Period.
📌 Ready to get your act together? Let’s chat. If not, just know the IRS already has your name on their radar. This for taxpayers & tax pros!
