Sis, some of the decisions you made as an adult didn’t start in adulthood…

They started with wounds you never got a chance to heal. 💔

One of the hardest truths I had to face was realizing that my childhood trauma followed me into adulthood.

The little girl who was hurt at 5…
The teenager who experienced trauma at 13…

She was still making decisions through pain, fear, rejection, abandonment, and brokenness.

That’s why healing matters.

Many of us are trying to fix our finances, relationships, confidence, and purpose without ever addressing the root.

What happened to you wasn’t your fault.

But your healing is your responsibility.

✨THURSDAY THERAPY✨

Sis, healing comes in layers.

First, God healed my spirit.
Then He started healing my heart.
Then He renewed my mind.

Now we’re in the physical healing phase. 💪🏾

And let me tell you… this phase is a whole different kind of ghetto. 😂 I was working out to a reel from .palmer_ , that’s who y’all hear in the background while I’m working out.

One minute I’m doing squats and getting my life together. The next minute I’m wondering if this waist trainer is cutting off my oxygen. 😩🤣 I should of started off gradual, but no I went full throttle and put it in the last clip😩it’s a great waist trainer tho💪🏾from

But healing isn’t just spiritual and emotional. Sometimes healing looks like taking care of the body God gave you.

One workout.
One walk.
One healthy choice at a time.

One thing about me, I truly love pouring back into the community. 💗

Being able to go into schools and educate families and students about financial literacy, budgeting, credit, and building a better future is something I never take lightly. After over 20 years in finance, this work is bigger than numbers for me… it’s about impact, legacy, and helping people make empowered decisions.

And of course… my grandbaby had to make her appearance in the video 😂 She was looking at me like, “Grammy, where you think you going?” 😆💗

These are the moments that remind me how important purpose really is. Serving, teaching, loving on people, and creating a legacy the next generation can see in real time.

Community work will always have a special place in my heart. 💕
