So proud of my daughter Meagan, who just completed her first full Ironman Chattanooga in 13:07:31 this past Sunday.

I still remember crossing my own Ironman finish line back in 2009 at Lake Placid with a time of 15:18:48. Watching her not only take on this challenge, but absolutely crush it — all while handling the demands of her 3rd year of dental school — was inspiring beyond words.

I have no doubt she’ll be successful in life. Success in a career is no different than an Ironman — it takes tenacity, courage, determination, and grit to keep moving forward no matter how tough the miles get.

Congratulations, Meagan — I couldn’t be prouder. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

✨ An Important Team Update at First Heartland Financial Group ✨

We’d like to update you on some important changes within our team at First Heartland Financial Group.

After nearly 15 years of dedicated service, our valued team member Jen Gualco will soon be relocating. Jen’s husband, Troy, recently received a great promotion, and together they will be moving to the Phoenix area to begin this new chapter and to be closer to her mom and stepdad.

Until that move takes place — likely within the next 3 to 6 months — Jen will continue in her role and will be training Mackenzie Blomgren to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. We are incredibly grateful for Jen’s loyalty, professionalism, and the countless ways she has supported our clients and advisors over the years. She will be deeply missed, and we wish her and Troy nothing but the best.

We are pleased to share that Mackenzie, who brings valuable experience from her 2 ½ years at Athene, will be stepping into this role and working alongside Amber Prickett to continue providing the high-level support our firm is known for. She will be assisting Jason Blomgren with all client needs, including withdrawals, beneficiary changes, and account support, as well as supporting our advisors in compliance and operations.

We are also excited to announce that Jacob Blomgren has joined our firm as a Wealth Management Associate. Jacob graduated from Iowa State University in May with a degree in Business and Marketing. Over the next few months, he will be working toward his exams in order to become an Advisor. In the meantime, he will be assisting with client meetings, learning the business from the ground up, and beginning to build relationships with clients.

Please join us in thanking Jen for her years of dedication and in welcoming both Mackenzie and Jacob to their new roles at First Heartland Financial Group.
