🏡New Jersey will now file the ⚓️2020 ANCHOR Benefit⚓️ application on behalf of most qualified residents who received the 2019 ANCHOR benefit earlier this year. If you qualify, you will receive a ✉️confirmation letter✉️ sometime in August 2023. No action is required, UNLESS any information from your prior filing has changed (name, banking info, etc.). If so, then you must file an application (online💻, by phone📞, or paper📬) to update these changes by September 30th, 2023.

All other applicants have until December 29th, 2023 to file applications.

The Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) program replaces the Homestead Benefit.

NJ Sales Tax Holiday!

From August 26, 2023 - September 4th, 2023, sales tax will not be charged on certain retail sales of computers, school supplies, and sport/recreational equipment sold to individual purchasers for non-business use. For a full list of eligible items visit:

*NEW Child Tax Credit 👦👧 for NJ Parents in 2022

NJ lawmakers have passed a new child tax credit to be claimed on the 2022 tax return by parents with children under 6 years old. The amount of this refundable credit will increase from $0 up to $500 as income decreases from $80,000 down to $30,000 or less.
