This tax will generate $131 million dollars from Kanawha County taxpayers. Your occupied home is Class II property...it will increase 29.82 cents per $100 to 45.9 cents or a 54% increase!! Class III & IV wil

l increase 59.64 cents per $100 assessed value to 91.8 cents per $100

If passed, tax rate in Kanawha County--the state's largest--would be about 15% higher that the state average. Tell the Kanawha County School Board to "QUIT LIVING IN EXCESS!" and VOTE NO to the Excess Levy on November 9th!
