Today on our lunch break we spent time volunteering at the diaper repack for the Bottom Line Diaper Bank through United Way of Champaign County.

Sometimes the smallest essentials make the biggest difference. Diapers are something many families quietly struggle to afford, and this program helps bridge that gap for local parents and caregivers right here in our community. Last year alone, the Bottom Line Diaper Bank distributed more than 13,000 diapers each month to families in need.

We also learned about WCIA & Nexstar's upcoming Founder's Day of Caring Diaper Drive on June 10 benefiting the diaper bank. If you're looking for a simple way to help local families, unopened packages of diapers for babies and toddlers are being collected throughout the week of June 10.

It was a good reminder that community impact doesn't always come from huge gestures — sometimes it's a lunch hour, a few helping hands, and showing up for people when they need it most. 💙🩵

Some things you never really outgrow.

For Abbie, that's agriculture.

Growing up on a farm in Southern Illinois meant early mornings, harvest seasons, helping with equipment, and seeing firsthand the hard work, sacrifice, and uncertainty that often comes with farm life.

And while her career path eventually led into financial planning, agriculture never stopped feeling personal.

That's one reason she's continued expanding her knowledge through agriculture-focused education and training—to better understand the unique needs of farm families, family operations, and multigenerational planning.

Last Night our team had the opportunity to attend and sponsor the Women United Power of the Purse event — something we've proudly supported for several years now.

There's just something really special about a room full of women coming together to support the same cause. The event was beautiful, inspiring, and a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community shows up for one another.

Power of the Purse supports United Way of Champaign County's efforts to strengthen the financial stability of women and advance literacy for children across Champaign County through programs like Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and Women United Literacy Grants. Their goal is to help ensure more children have access to books and opportunities to fall in love with reading at an early age.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, over $120,000 was raised last night! We're grateful to be a small part of such an incredible evening and thankful to all of the organizers, sponsors, and volunteers who continue to make this event so impactful year after year. ✨
