There is a difference between having financial reports and having someone paying attention.
A report can tell you what happened.
But it does not automatically tell you what changed, what matters, or what you should be watching before the next decision.
That is the gap a lot of service businesses run into.
The books may be current.
The reports may exist.
The numbers may technically be there.
But if nobody is reading them in the context of how the business actually works, the owner is still left guessing.
And guessing gets expensive when you are making decisions about pricing, hiring, equipment, capacity, or cash.
