We spend a lot of time trying to save money.

We'll spend hours researching the cheapest software.
Looking for coupon codes.
Driving across town to save a few dollars.

But then...
We'll spend an entire Saturday doing bookkeeping.

Think about that for a minute.

If your photography services are worth $200... $300... maybe even $500 an hour...
Why are you spending hours doing work that doesn't generate a single dollar?

I'm not saying every photographer should hire a bookkeeper.
Plenty of people do a great job managing it themselves.

But I **am** saying you should understand the value of your own time.

🎯 Stop Chasing Every Opportunity
One of the hardest things about running a photography business...
Is saying **no**.

A family session.
A mini session.
A wedding.
A commercial job.
A friend who wants "just a few photos."
⠀
When you're trying to grow your business...
It's easy to think every opportunity is a good opportunity.
⠀
But not every job moves your business forward.
⠀
Some clients are enjoyable.
Some are profitable.
Some are both.
And unfortunately...
Some are neither.
⠀
That's why knowing your numbers matters.
Because when you understand your business...
You can start asking better questions.
⠀
Instead of...
"Can I book this?"
Ask...
• Is this worth my time?
• Is this actually profitable?
• Does this fit the business I'm trying to build?
• Would saying yes to this keep me from saying yes to something better?

One of the biggest mindset shifts for business owners...
Is realizing that every "yes" also means saying "no" to something else.

Sometimes the best business decision isn't taking another client.
It's protecting your time.

The photographers who build sustainable businesses don't chase every opportunity.
They choose the right opportunities.

And that's a whole lot easier to do...
