在日本蜜月旅行的时候 在老婆生日的那天安排去了富士山附近的河口湖

意外的是 明明是著名的旅游胜地 当地却没有变成一个很商业化的城市

人们依然按照自己的节奏生活 不知是不是因为冬天 感觉每户每晚几乎八点就关灯休息了

在那边的第一晚 我们冒着冷的刺骨的寒风 走路25分钟到一家鳗鱼饭餐厅

招待的店员说了一串日语 我简单理解成要等一个小时（いちじかん) 我也用了拙劣的日语回答说我们可以等

直到好不容易坐下来后才从google review发现 原来这家店因为语言不通拒绝了很多来自欧美的外国人 导致评分很低 但食物爆炸好吃！

只要继续努力学习日语 看来有希望在日本过向往的退休生活了😅

《我在家人得癌症后才知道》

🌟 领悟 🌟
肿瘤原来不只有良性恶性之分，也有大小之分。
太大的肿瘤直接切除风险极大，对身体的伤害也是不容忽视。
于是为了把肿瘤变小，只好通过电疗。
但我们真的没想到电疗的副作用那么大！
不止皮肤干裂，出现湿疹，正常生活也作息受影响。。。
五个星期的电疗结束后，得等医生安排时间进一步检查。
只有确定了肿瘤缩小到合理范围，才会安排切除手术。
等待复诊的过程中，要把身体养好对抗手术的风险，
医生建议多吃，增加一些重量。
老人家自己也会想买一些保健品，比如某种叫千XX的神奇水
每次陪跑来回医院复诊的家人，试问谁不是放下手中的工作？
🌟 保险 🌟
受教育程度高的社会，普遍对保险都有很好的认识
也开始不抵触保险，很多年轻人都在刚工作时把基本保险买好
可惜的是，大多数人只认为医药费是唯一的问题，
却忽略了真正的大boss — 和疾病打持久战
除了基础的医疗保险，重疾保险一直是大家讨论保险时避而不谈的话题。
有人说保费贵，有人说还年轻没必要等等
但我发现在我的咨询客户时有这么一些人，
明明有各种理由能拒绝却还是愿意做更完善的规划。
深聊才发现，这些人家里有人得过癌症/糖尿病/中风等。

如果我们自认聪明，那我们不妨静下来思考。
我们为什么开始工作？
有人工作是为了帮家里还债，
有人工作是为了生活变得更好，
有人工作是为了证明自己的价值。
在这个幸运的时代，我们通过别人的故事学习人生道理。
于是自诩有人生阅历，对生老病死侃侃而谈。
但我的工作教会我，真正的经历，带给我们的不是那些嘴上说说的道理
而是实际行动，于是他们签了名。

这个问题很难回答
因为我就不知道没有双胞胎什么感觉啊！

真要说有什么特别的
应该就是从不缺玩伴吧

小时候一起不想去妈妈的面档帮忙，偷跑去打游戏被抓回来
我刚去新加坡打工时每次回家的彻夜聊天
现在聊天记录十句八个笑话

就有这么一个人
懂你的每一个笑点
和你分享你的全部童年
长大了一起见证彼此的生活里程
和你还长得有点像

虽然越大越不像了
还是经常在路上被认错
最后一次被认错时他的朋友朝我猛挥手

《医药卡真的有需要🇸🇬和🇲🇾都有吗？》

最近在帮很多🇲🇾的年轻人们做规划，终于又问起了反复出现的问题（如题）。

问题常见说明大家真的不知道答案，好奇又不懂去哪里问。

反正这边统一回答。

首先，医药卡是🇲🇾的称呼，🇸🇬普遍叫住院保险 Hospitalisation Insurance。

以下我总结几个最常见的问题：

1️⃣ 我不是PR能买吗？
答：不是PR也能买，有PR了就能用CPF还一部分保费。也有一部分人以为拿了PR买住院保险会便宜很多，事实上并没有差非常多哈哈。

2⃣️ 我买了🇸🇬的后，是不是就可以cancel掉🇲🇾的了？
答：Hold on hold on，兄弟别急，保险有一个续保的概念，就是如果买的时候健康，那就是没有exclusion。但如果是以后想退休在🇲🇾的人，是建议继续拿着医药卡续保，毕竟等退休了回马才来买医药卡，就不一定是什么都能保了，有风险有风险。。。如果是有打算在🇸🇬 settle down的人，比如转公民了，那就当然用🇸🇬的就好了。

3⃣️ 我在🇲🇾买医药卡了，我还需要买🇸🇬的吗？
事实上，🇲🇾医药卡能理赔新加坡的医药费，但是policy owner需要承担一些风险，以下：

⚠️ 风险一：
必须先自己缴付医药费，出院了才去马来西亚保险公司申请理赔。在这个过程中，很多人会耗尽自己多年在新加坡工作的积蓄，甚至需要借钱来cover医药费。心想着等保险报销了才还回欠下的钱。但很重要的是这个风险是没有上限的。（划重点）

⚠️ 风险二：
马来西亚医药卡赔付的额度是按照同等手术在马来西亚的费用来几选（附图）。这里就要考虑到汇率的风险，至少保守估计一对三来说，新加坡新币十万的手术不一定等于马来西亚三十万马币的手术。细节就不展开说，只能说承担风险很大。

⚠️ 风险三：
Claim的过程可能花上数周至数月。因为出院后才能拿到最终的收据，有了收据才能回马来西亚做报销申请。这当中要消耗多少交通时间，家人陪伴可想而知。还要带着刚出院的身体到处跑，这才是最让人担心的。况且如果是和其他人或机构借钱，时间拖越久，利息越高。

Can SG citizens use immigration e-gates at Johor land checkpoint?

Have been asked this question a few times by my friends.

Short answer -- Yes.

Ever since I got my first Singaporean passport on March 2023, I have been using the e-gate facility.

How to apply?
Simply register through link below, fill up your particulars in the form. 3 days before the arriving Malaysia.

It's important to note that first-timers need to verify their biometrics at the immigration counter. (so-called manual counter)

Why do insurance companies keep talking about critical illness?

Because they are costly to cure.

When it hits you, you might not even know how long you can recover despite taking the treatment already.

Many people already have upgraded their shield plan with private insurance company, which is a good choice. But it has a limitation on the outpatient treatment as well.

It is always good to know how much you are really covered for critical illness. With this worry removed, you can focus on achieving your dream in life.

Just started working and you always spend almost all your income?

Apply 50-30-20 rule.

❗️ 50% of your income on thing you MUST spend on. For example electric bill, rental, internet. If you’re a fresh grad student, include your student debt here.

❗️30% spend on things you want. Be it the latest phone, that dress you always dream on, a good dinner or movie.

❗️20% put into savings. It doesn’t matter how much you earn, it’s how much you save. You only get richer by saving money, and grow it consistently with the right approach.

Start today to get to the better future.
