📌 Changes to the definitions of Critical Illnesses (CI)

The Life Insurance Association Singapore (LIA) provides a standardized set of CI definitions through a framework, the latest one being the "LIA Critical Illness (CI) Framework 2019".

This Version 2019 framework was announced by LIA on August 2019 and this Seedly article provides a good walk-through of the comparison between the Version 2014 and 2019.

For me personally, the current definitions (Version 2014) is to my advantage as they are more "lenient" in a sense.

To those who have yet to get their CI coverage, you might want to consider getting one before 26 August 2020.

The changes will be implemented in August 2020.
