I make my own at home.

2. Clothes I don’t really need.
If I can’t wear it at least 10 times, I skip it.

3. Upgrading gadgets every year.
If it still works, it stays.

4. Food delivery for convenience.
We cook at home.

5. Trendy items that will fade in a month
Trends change, but savings grow.

6. Expensive gym memberships
Walking and home workouts are free.

7. Random online budol purchases
I wait 24 hours before buying anything.

8. Subscriptions I rarely use.
One is enough.

9. Impressing people with luxury items.
I’d rather impress my future self.

10. Things that don’t bring long-term value.
My priority right now is my future home.

Some people think planning for the future means we are lack of faith. But that’s not true.

Imagine a farmer who carefully plants seeds, waters them, and builds storage for the harvest. They are not doubting God.

They are being wise with what God has given them. When a storm comes, his preparation protects his crops.

Insurance works the same way. Preparing for life’s unexpected events doesn’t mean you lack faith. It means you trust God enough to be a good steward of the blessings He entrusts to you.

Planning for your harvest is faith in action and it’s believing that God provides, while also doing your part to protect and grow what He’s given.

I wanna share my habit and mindset in terms of SAVING + INVESTING

Habit
Every payday, I automatically save and invest 35% of my total monthly income.

Mindset
I treat it as my most important monthly bill — because it is.

Why?
• Because our future also has expenses
• Because emergencies don’t send warnings
• Because wealth is built before comfort
• Because discipline today buys freedom tomorrow

I don’t save what’s left after spending.
I spend what’s left after saving.

I don’t wait to feel rich to start investing.
I invest so I don’t stay broke.

This habit removes emotion, excuses, and impulsive spending.
It forces alignment between my values and my hard-earned income.

Saving and investing isn’t optional.
It’s a non-negotiable commitment.

Saving is biblical, not lack of faith.
Preparation is wisdom.
