A year ago (short hair) versus today. 🤭

A year ago, I made a decision that surprised many people: I requested a demotion, and eventually resigned from Manulife at the height of my career.

Stepping away from a role you've worked hard to build isn't easy. But sometimes, growth requires creating space—to reflect, realign priorities, and redefine success on your own terms.

This career break has reminded me that progress isn't always about moving faster or climbing higher.

Sometimes, it's about having the courage to pause, recharge, and trust the process.

Looking back, I have no regrets. Looking ahead, I remain excited and optimistic.
