Dito napunta yung natipid ko dahil sa mga insurance.
Doctor adviced me to walk around… so we went shopping. 😂
What was meant to be around 1.3m dropped to 700k then 300k.
In the end, because of my insurance policies, medical insurance, and HMOs, I only had to pay P107,000 for my hospital bills!
And because I already prepared around 300k from my emergency funds, inisip ko…
Gamitin ko na rin. Bibili ako ng iMac.
So I did. 😅
Thanks to my younger self for getting insurance policies when I didn’t need them yet! Because she did, I’m able to enjoy my money for things I actually want.
Now, I will turn this iMac into an asset. I always try to get the money I spent by using the item I bought as an asset that can give me more money.
Paulit ulit na, napaka basic, but this is what you need to know:
✅ Your emergency funds are separate savings. You use this for emergencies: mga bagay na hindi mo inaasahan. Ibig sabihin, ang sakit, hindi yan emergency. Dahil dapat may insurance ka para jan. However, if your policies cannot cover everything because of terms and other constrictions, emergency funds mo ang tutulong sayo.
✅ You get insurance when you’re not sick yet. Hindi nila iaapprove if may pre-existing condition ka na. This is why I still had to pay 107,000 because a part of my health problem had to do with a pre-existing condition. Ibig sabihin: hindi pwedeng kung kelan ka may sakit dun ka na bibili kasi di ka na makakakuha.
✅ Get insurance while you’re still young and healthy. Other than mas mataas yung likelihood na ma-approve ka, mas mura pa. As you get older (and become riskier as a client), your insurance becomes more expensive.
