Position: Travel Agent / Travel Consultant�
Reports to: Agency Manager / Owner
Location: Mendejar Travel and Tours Services�
Employment Type: Full-Time

🔹 Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Consultant to assist clients in planning, booking, and organizing their travel needs. The successful candidate will have a passion for travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to create personalized travel experiences.

🧾 Responsibilities:
Advise clients on travel options (destinations, tours, accommodations, transport, etc.)
Book flights, accommodations, transport, and other travel services using GDS or booking platforms
Create customized itineraries and travel packages
Provide information on visa requirements, insurance, and local regulations
Handle customer queries and resolve travel-related issues efficiently
Keep up-to-date with travel trends, promotions, and new destinations
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client preferences

📚 Qualifications:
High school diploma (required);
degree in tourism, hospitality, or business (preferred)
Certification or training in travel services or GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) is an advantage
Previous experience in a travel agency or related customer service role (preferred)
Knowledge of travel booking systems and destination expertise
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
